Clergy Notes – September 19th, 2025

Dear Truro family,

It’s been a wonderfully full month at Truro. Two Sundays ago we had our ministry fair, began a new Sunday school class, and launched a new semester of Truro Youth. The campus has been alive with the sights and sounds of TPK, the kick-off of the fall semester of TIPS, Taco Tuesday, In the Vineyard Bible Study, two ordinations, our senior’s lunch (with our new Director of Worship speaking!), choir rehearsal, and much more. As you read on, you’ll get a glimpse of some exciting things coming up, and continued opportunities for you to get plugged in serving.

One week from now, we’re honored to host the consecration of Bishop-elect Jeff Bailey, serving another diocese in our denomination, the Diocese of Churches for the Sake of Others. Or “C4SO” for short. In our denomination (the Anglican Church in North America), some dioceses are regional (like ours). Others are called “affinity dioceses” and may include churches across the country (like C4SO). All are welcome to this service (RSVP here). Archbishop Steve Wood will be presiding, and he’ll also be with us (and preaching!) at Truro on Sunday, September 28.

Your brother,
Jamie
