Worship & Arts
Our worship and arts ministry exists as a community of worshippers. Young and old, trained and untrained, with people from all tribes and tongues, generations, races, backgrounds, and skill levels – redeemed and joined together to the praise of God’s glorious grace.
Psalm 34:3 says....
“Oh magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!” Whether we’re playing an instrument, or serving in a liturgical role, or doing something else behind the scenes, we’re not there to perform or impress. We’re there to invite.
So if you have a love for Jesus, a heart for worship, and a desire to invite others to magnify the Lord with you, then please consider using those gifts with us. We’ll make you feel right at home.
Here are places you could consider serving:
Acolytes

Altar Guild

Choir
For all singers – trained and untrained – to lift their voices as one, leading the congregation in worship and preparing special music of all styles throughout the year. Contact Joshua Spacht.
Dance
All classes will focus on worship, dance technique, and preparing to dance in Truro church services, particularly Christmas Eve and Easter. Performances/dance offerings are never mandatory. Major dances will incorporate all age levels, giving the opportunity for dancers of all ages to get to know each other and worship together. Middle and high school students will choreograph the majority of their dances themselves in a highly collaborative environment. Classes available for ages 3 – highschool.
Thursday classes will begin September 12 and Sunday classes will begin September 15.
