Youth
We love students here at Truro! We believe that God can bring transformation into the lives of students, and all that we do in Youth Ministry is created to help students be transformed through the love of God.

We have three priorities for our students in Youth Ministry:
Love God and teach others about Him.
Experience community and love each other.
Serve each other and the world around us.
Student Gatherings
During the school year, students in grades 7th through 12th are invited to our weekly Sunday night Truro Youth Ministry gatherings. We meet at Truro’s Van Dyck House from 5:00 – 7:00 pm for fun, food, fellowship, and spiritual formation.
Confirmation
Confirmation is an opportunity for students who are mature in their faith to make an “adult” decision to follow Jesus and publicly proclaim so. During the confirmation service, the bishop presides and prays individually for each person being confirmed. Please email our clergy at [email protected] to find out more about confirmation preparation and the dates for our 2026 Confirmation service.
Acolyte Ministry
Teens help lead the congregation in worship every week by serving as acolytes on Sunday morning.
We love to meet new students at any event, anytime throughout the year.
Kids
Truro welcomes the opportunity to partner with families helping children to take steps of faith toward Jesus and to know and experience the love of God.
