Sunday School
Our Sunday school classes take place on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM. We invite you to join us and go deeper into God’s Word.
Truro Sunday School: Epiphany and Lent 2025
This semester we’re exploring the New Testament Letter to the Hebrews. This class, taught by the Rev. Tim Howe, runs through the end of Lent (early April).
One of the most theologically rich writings in the Scriptures, Hebrews explains why it is so vital to know and follow Jesus Christ throughout life and warns against the dangers of falling away from Him.
- We’ll examine the spiritual and cultural background to the letter.
- We’ll study its life-giving message of the superiority of Christ over every other religious leader or teacher.
- We’ll see how Hebrews presents Christ’s sacrifice on the cross as the culmination of the life of faith for God’s faithful people.
This class meets in Common Grounds. You can get there by walking down the glass walkway and turning left. Common Grounds is on the main level, in the part of our campus that connects our office to our education building. Signs will point the way.
