Ministry Fair 2021

You did it again! This past Sunday you donated enough items to make close to 300 Weekend Meal Packets for families at Katherine Johnson Middle School (KJMS). You donated so much that we are sending the extra food to A Place to Stand to assemble even more bags from their hub. We have boxes and boxes of hygiene items for KJMS’ pantry, as well as backpacks, winter coats, and other winter items. As a bonus, we also received food and hygiene products which we will take to The Lamb Center to replenish their shelves.

In addition to gathering to prepare the meal bags, we gathered as a community for over an hour as you had a chance to catch up with old friends and make some new friends at Truro. About 15 community groups and many of Truro’s wonderful ministries came to represent ways in which we can all become better connected. We are so thankful to all of you who took time to stay and chat with one another and we hope we can do this again soon.
