Dear Truro Family,

With this TMail, we are introducing “Clergy Notes,” where we will provide updates on our life together. We know that during these times of uncertainty for the world and for Truro, it’s important for you to hear from us more often and we are committed to providing information as we have it.

First of all, happy Easter! We were delighted to worship with so many of you in person and online this past Sunday and Holy Week, and have especially enjoyed hearing some of the stories of members and visitors who joined us outside for the 11:15 a.m. service.

We acknowledge that this is a difficult time for our congregation as we are faced, yet again, with another painful situation. For those of you who feel sad, heavy, and burdened, please know that we feel it, too. We’ve heard questions from some of you about how to continue to walk in faith in the midst of so much uncertainty.

We believe it begins with reminders of who we are in Christ. That’s why, this coming Sunday, we’ll begin a six-week series from the book of Ephesians called, “Our Life in Christ.” In Ephesians, the apostle Paul writes to a young church seeking to live as Jesus’ resurrected people in a fallen world, a reality that still rings true for us today.

In the meantime, if we can care for you and your family in any way, we hope that you will reach out by emailing us at [email protected]. One of us will respond to you as soon as we can. If you’d like prayer support, please email Cindy Olland at [email protected]

We are so grateful for all of you as we walk through these times together.

Blessings to you and your family,

The Truro clergy
