Dear Truro family,
Next week, all the members of Truro should receive a letter from me in the mail with a prayer request sheet and a return envelope enclosed. This is an annual rhythm I keep as your pastor: taking three days away in the fall, simply to pray for our church and for you by name.
The letter will ask you to take a few minutes and write down specific ways I can pray for you or your loved ones. Please put your name on it, since I want to pray for you personally and write you a note back. No one reads these requests but me.
Watch for it in the coming days, and take a moment to fill it out and send it back. If you don’t receive one in the mail, you can pick one up at church next Sunday. I count this as one of the great privileges of serving as your pastor.
