Dear Truro family,
A month and a half ago, we sent out a team from Truro to launch our first church plant in over twenty years: Trinity Burke! This coming Sunday, October 15, they officially launch their first public worship service, gathering at 10:15 AM at The Woods Community Center in Burke. Let me encourage all of us to be praying for Trinity Burke this weekend as they prepare, and this Sunday as they open their doors. You can visit their website here.
And as you scroll down to read today’s Truro News, I hope you’ll feel encouraged AND invited. Encouraged by all that God is doing in and through this church, and invited to participate. Whether it’s here in Fairfax, down the street in Burke, or in your own living room, the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:5). Thanks be to God!
