Clergy Notes – March 8th, 2024

Dear Truro family,

This coming Sunday, there’s one thing we DON’T have to look forward to, and that’s losing one hour of sleep. But there are many more things we DO have to look forward to…

  • Our Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Chris Warner will be us in our morning services. We’re thrilled to welcome him (and Catherine) back to Truro.
  • In our 10:00 A.M. service, over 25 (mostly new) Truro members will be taking the public step of being confirmed, or received into the Anglican Church, or reaffirming their faith.
  • We’ll gather later on Sunday at 4:00 P.M. for our annual church family meeting (more info below) to celebrate what God has done and is doing in our church.
  • And of course, we’ll sing God’s praises, pray as God’s children, come to God’s table, hear God’s word, fellowship as God’s beloved, and gather in God’s presence.

I think that’s enough to keep us all awake! In the words of the Psalmist David, “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord!’” (Psalm 122:1)
