Clergy Notes – March 18, 2022

Dear Truro Family,Please mark your calendars for the next edition of the Truro Heritage Series on March 27 (originally planned for January)featuring the Rt. Rev. Neil Lebhar and his wife Marcia. Bishop Neil was an associate during John Howe’s tenure, then became the rector of Church of the Redeemer in Jacksonville, Florida, and now serves as the bishop of the Gulf Atlantic Diocese. Marcia is a gifted teacher and writer in her own right. He will preach at all three services, and they will speak at a luncheon afterwards on the topic: What God was doing when I was here – and what I learned.

I have learned important lessons from each of the speakers in this series, and many of you have told me specific things you have appreciated about what each has said. (I know the same will be true for this one!) These lessons from Truro’s past give us useful tools for understanding God’s dream for us in the future. Please plan to come to the lunch – you can sign up HERE

AND, I’d love to hear from you! What have you learned? How have those insights affected your hopes and prayers for Truro’s future? Drop me a note at [email protected] so that we can collect these insights and share them with you in a later Clergy Notes.

With love and prayers,
