Dear Truro family,
Last weekend, we hosted two separate safeguarding training sessions here at Truro. One was for any DOMA clergy, vestry members, staff and volunteers who work with vulnerable populations. Another was specifically for any Truro member who will be working with children at our upcoming Vacation Bible School. Our diocese and this church take seriously the safekeeping of the flock of God entrusted to our care. This is a reflection of God’s heart for his sheep.
As a church passionately committed to preventing any kind of abuse, I do ask each one of you to be diligent in prayer and watchfulness.
