Dear Truro family,
This coming Sunday, June 14, we’ll have our annual church picnic after the 10:00am service. You all are such a friendly and welcoming congregation, but let me encourage you “regular” folks to especially be on the lookout for new faces. Don’t just look for – and sit with – people you know. See if God might put someone in your path who you could get to know and make to feel more welcome into the family.
Never underestimate the power of a genuine greeting, of asking someone for their name, or of inviting someone to sit with you. Let’s always be a church where we look one another in the eye, make one another feel welcome, and offer one another God’s peace. Plus a hamburger or a hot dog.
