Dear Truro family,
Never underestimate the incredible power of reaching out to someone when they just “happen” to come to your mind. As you go about your day, doing whatever it is that you normally do, if/when someone’s name or face comes into your thoughts, consider that the Holy Spirit may be putting them there for two reasons. First, for you to pray for them. (You might not know how to pray for them, and that’s fine. Just pray whatever seems right.) Second, for you to reach out to them, to let them know if you were thinking about them and praying for them. Imagine if, throughout the week, you reached out to three or four people. What kind of simple yet powerful ministry could flow through you, via a text message that takes you 15 seconds to compose and send? Being the Church is not all that hard sometimes!
Your brother,
Jamie
