Clergy Notes – July 17th, 2026

Dear Truro family,

For the last ten years, Anne Bronaugh has faithfully directed our ministry to children with a beautiful combination of love, prayer, and consistency. Yesterday, Anne shared this note with Truro parents:

“I am writing to let you know about some changes that will be happening in the next few months in kids’ ministry. After a period of discernment, I recently met with Jamie and asked if I could move towards stepping back from my position as Director of Kids Ministry, and stay connected, but in a smaller role. So now we are beginning a prayerful search for the next person to fill that role. We are still exploring what my future role will look like, but in the meantime, I will stay in this role. Fiona Bracy and I have already been planning for this next school year and are excited for all that’s to come (and hope you will join us downstairs once a month!). I plan on sticking around and being with your kids, who I adore, for a long time to come. Eventually that will just be in a different capacity. Please reach out if you have any questions! It’s been such a joy and a privilege to be in this role with you, and I look forward to staying connected.”

I give thanks to God for Anne’s wonderful ministry among us – and that her ministry will be continuing, albeit eventually in a different role.

Please be praying about these two things:

  • The search for our next Director of Children’s Ministry (click here for the job description).
  • How God may be calling you to serve the children of Truro in the months and years ahead. More on that next week!

Jamie
