Dear Truro family,
Last week in the Truro News we shared some upcoming dates of various important events in February and March. In case you missed it, I’d like to share those dates with you again. Since we’re a church family – brothers and sisters with one another – I hope you know how welcome you are on all of these occasions, and how much your presence contributes. So, as you look ahead to the coming months, I hope you’ll make note of:
- February 17: Shrove Tuesday pancake community night
- February 18: Ash Wednesday (services at 12:00 P.M. + 7:00 P.M.)
- February 24: Weekly Lenten Community Night dinners begin. Our “Leaning Into Lent” teaching series follows in the sanctuary, being held each Tuesday in Lent at 7:00 P.M. This year’s theme is “Giving God Our Baggage”
- March 1: Truro Membership Lunch (12:00 P.M.)
- March 15: Annual Church Family Meeting (1:00 P.M.)
We’ll share more about these events in upcoming weeks, but it would be good if you knew about these important dates well in advance.
