Dear Truro family,
Over the last several months, I’ve had a few opportunities to meet with a person who’s seriously exploring the Christian faith. This person is wrestling with the message of the gospel, considering the cost of following Jesus, and asking all the right questions. There are so many encouraging parts of this story that I could share, but what I want to highlight today is how this person came to Truro.
It wasn’t because of our website, or our location, or our denomination, or any program that we offer. It was all because a friend invited this person to come to church with them last Easter. This person came, having never been to a church service once in their life, and a seed was planted. The last few months have been months of baby steps towards faith in Christ. All because of one invitation from a friend.
So let me ask you: Who are you inviting to church with you this Christmas?
