Dear Truro family,
The gospel is the good news of what God has done for us in Jesus Christ. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16). As a church that God has positioned right here in the middle of the city of Fairfax, and with our doors and hearts open to our community and our world, we exist to celebrate and proclaim this good news! So I ask you – yes, you – who will you invite to come to church with you on Christmas Eve to hear the gospel?
Think and pray about it. Who is the one person that God is putting on your heart? Come to church this Sunday and take an invitation card out of our pews. Give it to a friend, neighbor, or co-worker, and invite them to join you. Trust the Holy Spirit to take it from there.
