Clergy Notes – April 10th, 2026

Dear Truro family,

What a gift to gather with you all – and with so many guests – throughout Holy Week, and to top it all off with a glorious celebration on Easter Sunday. I’m amazed and deeply grateful when I think of all of you who helped in so many ways and gave up so much of your time. On Easter alone we welcomed 1,071 people onto our campus – and the rain didn’t seem to dampen anyone’s joy. To each one of you who served in any capacity: thank you. To each of you who sang, rang your bells, and braved a mid-morning monsoon to get your family to church: thank you. And to those brave people who invited family and friends who are struggling in their faith: thank you.

This Sunday we’ll continue to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection from the dead. In fact, that’s what we do every Sunday!

Hymns of praise, then let us sing: Alleluia!
Unto Christ, our heavenly King: Alleluia!
Who endured the cross and grave: Alleluia!
Sinners to redeem and save: Alleluia!

Grateful for this good news,
Jamie
