Jamie Brown has served as rector of Truro Anglican Church since September 2022. Born and raised in a ministry family in Florida, Jamie discerned a call to serve the Church at a young age, and began leading worship weekly at the age of 13. After graduating from Oakton High School, he earned his B.A. in Psychology from George Mason University, and a Master of Arts in Religion from Reformed Theological Seminary. Jamie has served on the Truro staff in various roles since 2014, first as the Director of Worship. Jamie is passionate about Truro’s “four pillars” of the Word, worship, community, and outreach. His prayer for Truro is that God will continue to strengthen those pillars, and lead us forward to be a church of restoration, rebuilding, and raising-up. In his free time, he enjoys running, music, and spending time with his family. Jamie is married to Catherine, and they have four children: Megan, Emma, Callie, and Jacob.
