VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

JUNE 22 - 26, 2026

Dear VBS Families,

Next week is Truro’s VBS week – Stellar! The team are so excited to welcome your children to a week of fun and learning and growth in the Lord and with each other.

Below you’ll find all the important details you’ll need to prepare for a fantastic and meaningful week.

LOCATION & TIME

Truro Anglican Church

10520 Main Street
Fairfax, VA 22030

June 22–26
9:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Drop-Off Instructions for K-6th Grade:

  • Park in the front lot of the church (please avoid handicap spaces unless permitted).
  • Monday Only:
    • Check-in will be outside near the sanctuary—look for signs and friendly volunteers.
    • If it’s raining, check-in will move inside the building (signs will direct you).
  • Please walk your child into the sanctuary and check in with their leaders.
  • Don’t leave until you’ve received your pickup card for your child.

Pick-Up Instructions for K-6:

  • Pick-up begins at 12:30 PM each day in the sanctuary.
  • Bring your pickup card with you. If you forget it, be prepared to show ID.
  • Please do not enter the sanctuary before 12:30 so we can safely bring all the children upstairs.

Drop-Off and Pickup Instructions for Preschool Campers:

  • Don’t leave until you’ve received your pickup card for your child.
  • If someone else is picking up your child, let them know during check-in and ensure that adult has their ID with them.

For Volunteers with Nursery-Age Children (The Nest):

  • Volunteers may drop off little ones in The Nest starting at 8:15 AM on the first floor of the Education Wing.
  • Children ages 2 and 3 will join preschool VBS as much as possible and enjoy some fun, age-appropriate crafts in their own room.

T-Shirts & Snacks:

  • T-shirts will be handed out on your child’s first day in the sanctuary.

Hot Weather:

  • We’ll have water stations throughout the campus.
  • Please send a labeled water bottle and encourage your child to stay hydrated.

On-Site Nurse & Medical Needs:

We will have a nurse on site each day of VBS to care for any medical needs that arise. If your child requires attention during the morning, they will be escorted to the narthex, just outside the sanctuary, to meet with the nurse.

If your child requires medication, an EpiPen, or any other medical item during VBS, please bring it with you on the first day and let us know during check-in. This will help ensure our nurse is fully informed and ready to care for your child as needed.

What to Bring:

  • Change of clothes
  • VBS T-shirt (received on first day)
