Dear Truro family,
While on my pastoral prayer retreat last week, reading your notes to me, I was struck over and over again by the incredible kindness, devotedness, and godliness of the people of this congregation. Even as so many of your notes included prayer requests for significant challenges in your lives, they were also full of beautiful assurances of prayers for my family and me, and thoughtful words of gratefulness for the other clergy and staff here at Truro. Thank you.
In whatever small ways the Lord allows me to encourage you with my prayers, please know that you are an even greater encouragement to me. Your prayers for my family and me, and your support and partnership in ministry, are a beautiful gift.
