Clergy Notes – October 10th, 2025

Dear Truro family,

This week I’ve been away on a pastoral prayer retreat, praying for the needs and concerns of this congregation. It’s an incredible honor for me to read your notes, to get to know more about your joys and sorrows, and to pray for you by name. I speak for all the clergy, staff, and vestry here when I say what an honor it is to be a part of this church family with you, and to walk alongside you as brothers and sisters.

I hope you never feel like you’re a burden when you ask us to pray for you. It’s one of our greatest privileges! We always offer prayer after our services, we always read the prayer cards you fill out and put in the plate, and we can always be reached on the phone or email during the week. If you ever want to reach the clergy with a prayer request, email us at [email protected].

As Paul said in Philippians 1:3-6: “I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
