Dear Truro family,
This coming Wednesday, February 14, we begin the season of Lent with our Ash Wednesday services at 12:00 P.M. (chapel) and 7:00 P.M. (sanctuary and online). You may be accustomed to the season of Lent, or if you didn’t grow up in a liturgical tradition, this may be very new (and somewhat weird) to you. Let me encourage you to join us on Ash Wednesday. All that Lent is meant to do is draw us deeper into Jesus. We’re invited to hear the hard words that we are dust and to dust we shall return. And yet we’re invited to hear the louder words that we are in Christ, and in Christ we shall remain.
