About the Speaker
Bishop John Howe, former Rector of Truro Anglican, is a renowned teacher and preacher; a prolific author, he led Truro to become one of the largest Episcopal Churches in the nation back in the 1980s. He conducted preaching and teaching missions throughout the USA and in 17 countries around the world. A founder of Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, he also served as President of the National Organization of Episcopalians for Life, now called Anglicans for Life. Bp. Howe sponsored the First and Second National Church Growth Pastors’ Conferences held in Washington, D.C. in 1984/85. Active in ecumenical relations throughout his ministry, from 2006 – 2009 he was the National Chaplain of Daughters of the King.
