Chapel and Church
Both the large Sanctuary and the small chapel are available for weddings. Both spaces have a piano and pipe organ. The Church seats up to 800 people. This location supports powerpoint or percussion (drumset). Audio Visual support is required and the space is handicapped accessible. The Chapel seats up to 150 people. Audio Visual support is not necessary as the chapel has wonderful acoustics. The Chapel is not handicapped accessible.
The Truro Undercroft is available for wedding receptions; however, the couple must understand that ministry events at Truro take precedence. Truro reserves the right to rescind the use of the Undercroft up to 6 months in advance of your wedding.
The Truro Sextons will provide setup and teardown for receptions in the Undercroft (tables, trash cans etc.). However, the wedding party and caterers are responsible for decorative setup, and cleanup of the Undercroft and Kitchen following the reception. This includes but is not limited to the removal of decorations, leaving the kitchen in a clean condition, and throwing away all trash.
The occasion of weddings with couples not affiliated with Truro shall be decided on a case by case and an extension of Christian hospitality. Non-Truro weddings will use a Truro Wedding Guild Member and will be charged a small fee for their support.
Truro bills for musicians support if used.
