Remember that YOU and any friends you’d like are invited to our upcoming Church-wide picnic. As if the possibility of seeing Tim go down a water slide (come on Tim…) isn’t enough reason to come, here is part two of our “Why do we do a church-wide picnic again?” series:

Affirming the goodness of creation and its creator.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Gen. 1:1). Psalm 19:1 says, “the heavens are telling the glory of God and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.” Worshiping in-side our church is amazing! We hearing the word proclaimed, and it is beautiful.

There is also something unique gather together out-side, to hear the proclamation of “the sky above.” At these picnics we are drawn outside, where we can take a moment to freshly appreciate God’s handiwork together. We can also appreciate the handiwork of Jim Wilkinson and his volunteers who are beautifying our campus before our very eyes! So join us on August 13th after our morning services for an afternoon of being together, and affirming God’s created goodness.
