As soon as we start putting together our own thoughts as a child, we start to question. We want answers to how and why things work:
- Why do I have to go to school?
- Why are my parents telling me to not eat chocolate all day?
- How does this clock work?
- Why do I have to go to school AGAIN?!
As parents they may seem simply, but to a child they are invaluable. We all have questions, and these questions are important. The answer and the exploration of these questions start to shape how we think, they give us understanding.
As we continue to grow we have other and “bigger” questions:
- How does the world work?
- Why am I here?
- Is there more to life than this?
For some reason it can be difficult to express or to explore these questions. This is where Alpha can be useful. It allows us to wrestle with these “bigger” questions in a safe and small community.
DON’T lose your child-likeness. Don’t feel the need stop asking, to stop searching. Alpha is the perfect avenue for every inquisitive thought.
You’re invited to join us this Thursday (April 20th) or next Thursday (April 27th) for our new course. For more information on our Alpha course (beginning now!) go to www.truroanglican.com/Alpha
